I’ve had a very long day, I’m exhausted, and just as I’m on the way to class I hear on the radio “Michael Jackson went into cardiac arrest today” and I’m sitting there thinking “Well, he’s home now, it was just the hospital part that was the news.” Then follows “he was a father of 3…” and I realize that he is dead because of the past tense.
I couldn’t believe it. I still can’t 
He is truly a legend and I don’t think there will ever be anyone like him to come. You can’t own anything close to that, you can only watch and learn.
He leaves behind an extraordinary legacy. Say what you want about his personal life – but you don’t know him, never did and never will. His music made him one of the greats and his death (which is unfortunately a media shitstorm at the moment) will remain unbelievable for years to come. RIP MJ.

I actually don’t believe that he molested kids. That’s just outrageous.

Georgia I see what you’re saying and I want everyone to feel free to say exactly what they want to, there is no right or wrong. A big question that pops into people’s minds is if he actually did do the things he was accused of…because that would make mourning for him more difficult and since he was such a public figure then I’m sure there are many more people wondering the same thing. Personal life aside, his career was tremendous and I hope that people choose to focus on that instead, even though everyone is curious by nature.

i agree. although i don’t really know what to think about his personal life w/ the multiple wives, molesting children thing, he was a legend and its sad to see him go before he could “rebrand” himself so to speak b/c i think he was training for a actual tour. would have been explosive

I was on Twitter whenever I first heard about him having a heart attack, and I was just like, yeah, he’ll be fiiiiine! No need to worry! and then a few hours later TMZ confirmed he was dead :’( I just couldn’t believe it! I mean, I’ve never been a huge fan of him, because I just never got into his music, but still.. it’s hard to believe that a legend such as he is DEAD. Not to mention Farrah Fawcett and Billy Mays, too. Sheesh.
So many legendary people died this past week…

And I just found out that he passed away before all his concerts were scheduled!

there were these kids who are making fun of Micheal Jackson before he died and then when he died they are all like “omg i love micheal jackson, i miss him! his music was the best” :S
