{March 1} hello wordpress

This morning I tried to see if the liquid style was working for people when I noticed that I couldn’t pull up the comments. Then I scanned down the main page and realized that the bottom part of the layout was magically cut off as well. So then I thought fine, I’ll just look through the comments with the control panel but THAT didn’t work either. AFTER THAT I realized that my cutenews randomly deleted all of my posts and froze up the edit page…all on its own. So I tried to fix up the edit index but that didn’t seem to work.

What was I supposed to do? I decided to download a new blogging tool all together. So say hello to Wordpress. I never even wanted to switch because I liked being a rebel with the oldschool cutenews. Sometimes I’ll keep or do something just because I don’t want to conform. But now I guess I have to use this because cutenews died. RIP.

So far I’m not too sure what I’m doing, SO IF YOU KNOW WORPRESS AND CAN HELP ME it would be VERY helpful if you would give me a quick e-mail to outspokenkate@yahoo.com. I’m basically working to get the comments to integrate onto the main page and fix up and do some minor customizing.

Pease send an e-mail if you get the time, I don’t trust myself with codes.

The Wordpress is very far from being done, so just ignore anything messy for now.

    I hear Wordpress is super hard to set up. I have no idea what you should do, though. Good luck with everything and sorry i’m no help :)

    It’s not that hard, I’m sure I have most of it down already. There’s just some include issues I’d like to solve but if I may be honest, the templates took me less time to figure out than cutenews. And setting up was like 2min.

    Although, I left it because I didn’t really like it. You should try FanUpdate if you can’t get wordpress to work out, although I am sure you will! Good luck!

    Good luck with wordpress!
    An easy way is that if you use php, just put your header & footer codes in the template boxes so your comments/blog etc will show up with your layout!

    bleh, my host wont let me have wordpress..! it sucks!
    heyy…. hang on.. you have the same host as me! Hmm.. you must have the next package up. I cant afford £9 a month though.. £6 is enough for me. :P Ill have to do some research me thinks. Good luck!

    Good Luck! I’ve heard that it is pretty complicated, but I’ve never tried it myself. I still have cutenews. I know this wasn’t that helpful, but again, good luck!
