I want to make some type of a tutorial for you guys but I’m not sure which style to do. Please post an image/layout/anything that you find cool and want me to make a tutorial on! Deal?
I could make something up in my head, but I’d rather do something that visitors want instead. I learned most of what I know simply from mimicking what I liked until I got comfortable enough to do it in my own way.

Wow, it’s a pleasure talking with you, I met the site by a community of Photoshop here in Brazil and since then fell in love with Playlist. Hmmm can you make a font and text guide, like how you use the right text in a cretin graphic or whatever, also tips and tricks would be amazing.
Hey Kate, what about making a tutorial on something similar to your punk graphic, not identical, but like that style, I think its amazing and all your visitors will like it. Also, thanks for the links to stock sites, I’ve been trying to get some good stocks lately to practice.

I think whatever tutorial you do, visitors will love. Maybe you can just translate into other programs and not just photoshop.

Dodging and Burning makes a much more natural effect. It’s very time consuming, though. The retouch you linked to might have been done with a smart blur, gaussian blue or surface. I’m not sure. Hmm ok I’ll try to think of a reasonably understandable tutorial on lights. There are so many things you can do that I don’t know where to start, but I’ll try to come up with it.
The music? It comes from everywhere. The radio, other people’s online playlists, music blogs, itunes, youtube surfing…I just add whatever I think sounds good to me =)
