{October 17} Tick tock

Tomorrow is my first official day off schedule since I started work..which is pretty big stuff if you ask me. Normally my weekends are work filled so now I’m kind of surprised that I’ll get to sleep in. Tomorrow the birds will sing, I’ll burry my head into my pillow and then get up later to hit the gym and it will be an awesome morning! I shit you not batman!

So who heard about that little kid who they thought was in a hot air balloon when in fact he was at his house ? Who else shook their head at the screen when the dad tried to fake cry to distract everyone from his son having confessed that it was all done for a show? Now, being a half asleep, malnourished student running on redbull and a faint hope for the future, even I could smell the fake right off my screen. Sure I was slightly out of it and  had a little difficulty with balance while my eyes felt like they would burn out of their sockets from lack of sleep but as soon as I saw it I was like “You fake shit!” and then I had an intellectual conversation with my pillow and went to sleep.

All for a show. People are so attention and money hungry sometimes that it’s absolutely nuts. I don’t understand this sick attraction to fame and attention for nothing. There is so much that can be done if it were focused on what truly matters. How young kids battle cancer every day, how doctors perform miracles every minute and just how incredibly difficult some people have it in war struck areas. Instead we have John and Kate plus 8 on the news polluting the airways with so much convoluted bs that it is taking every molecule in my body not to smash my keyboard and sing kum-ba-ya just to get the tension out.

Thankfully when I wake up tomorrow the world will be a better place because I won’t watch any CNN stories and will instead focus on my idol Heidi Montag and go buy whatever on earth she tries to sell me. Good day and here’s some Gaga for you to finish things off.
