I don’t get this electro pop rock craze that’s been going on. WHAT IS IT WITH EVERY FORMER ROCK STYLED BAND USING THAT VOICE EDITOR AND SHALLOW LYRICS NOW?
Take Faber Drive, who I used to listen to almost every morning on the way to school when I was like 17, they were fun, energetic and catchy as hell a few years ago. I remember I’d talk about them and everyone would be like “WHO?!” and now that they’re a lot more popular, the guys basically sold out.

I don’t entirely hate those two new songs, but I really miss who they used to be. My 17 year old self who got their drum stick is disappointed.
Oh yeah…I know the feeling all too well. I hate it when bands or singers do something like this, although sometimes it’s just them wanting to try something new and they may go back to their original music roots afterward. Still hope!
yeah a lot of artists have started using it. including new ones. jason derulo in his song whatcha say you can tell he uses the voice editor. it’s kind of sad because it make it seem like they don’t have true talent
They are actually popular now? I knew them when that second video came out and I adored them. They are so good. I listened to that 3rd and fourth video and I was like “WHAT?!”. Like what happened to them? Gosh I so agree with you!
Haha yeah they are, if you youtube them you’ll see that some of their songs hit well over a million, close to two million views. A few years ago you’d be lucky to find the song you were looking for (i was one of the people trying to find it! lol, no one knew about them) and now they even have videos and all that stuff.
oh well I only know they’re old songs :S
This kind of reminds me of Marianas Trench, they are only in Canada. The first time I heard their song I was like “this band is amazing” but sadly no one knew them
Now they are getting more popular with “cross my heart” and I must say I am quite happy for them and they haven’t changed their sound either. I really like them because they just stay true to themselves you know? And for faber drive, I think that if that’s what they like, then good for them, I just wont be as happy that they won’t release songs like they use to make because they were good.
